I love that quote – the message is clear and there is a leaning toward intentionality. The habits we want in our life need to be identified and incorporated into our lives.
So what are good habits for students? Jessica Rose has assembled a nice list. Specifically, I applaud the whole life perspective. Her list works with our humanity, rather than trying to eliminate it.

What about bad habits? It is always better to focus on what you want. However, often real change and refinement can come from eliminating things that are not working. To that end Lily Herman has some superb observations. Take a look.
Here are Three habits that are easy to track that serve a solid foundation:
- Sit in the Front Row.
- Get to class at least five minutes early and review your notes.
- Eat Breakfast!
